Description
The Projects & Turnarounds department organizes and realizes complex projects and turnarounds for MEB, Utilities & Facilities (Delesto), brine extraction, and salt companies in Delfzijl and surrounding locations.
You will join a close-knit team of project and portfolio managers, turnaround managers, execution supervisors, planners, schedulers, and a project inspector, and work closely with these colleagues.
Job requirements
- Completed technical MBO-4 training or comparable.
- Several years of experience in a technical work environment and knowledge of maintenance methods and techniques, preferably in the chemical industry.
- Experience in a role as a work planner is desirable.
- Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Accurate, stress-resistant and a team player.
- Preferably knowledge of relevant SAP modules, Maintasc and MS Office applications.
- Passion for technology, hands-on mentality and an independent, pragmatic and positive work attitude with plenty of initiative and perseverance.
Tasks
- Creating work packages in SAP and/or Maintasc that ensure the safe, efficient, and effective execution of activities.
- Go into the field to determine activities and identify necessary preparatory measures.
- Coordinating activities with technical services, production, engineers, purchasing, contractors and other external parties.
- Forward prepared jobs to the scheduler for timely execution and ensure the necessary work permits are obtained.
- Order placing and monitoring of timely deliveries.
- Remain involved during execution and maintain close contact with the execution supervisor and project leader.
- Manage work inventory, develop complete work packages and update task plans.
