E&I Project Coordinator

Description
A SPIE E&I Project Coordinator works in a project team and is jointly responsible for the execution of projects, with a focus on cost, delivery time, and quality. The role encompasses personnel, administrative, technical, commercial, and coordinating aspects; the project coordinator is the linchpin of the project team and the pillar of support for the project leader.
Job requirements
- Working and thinking level equivalent to at least MBO-4 technical education level, in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Business Administration (through education and/or experience).
- Recent experience as an E&I work planner or project coordinator in the industry.
- VCA VOL (safety for managers).
- Strong communication skills and commercial antennae.
- Knowledge of planning packages and planning techniques, standard (MS Office) and specific software applications.
Tasks
- Responsible for planning the work.
- Monitor the development of costs relative to the budgeted costs.
- Drafting quotations and negotiating additional and reduced work.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting internally; adjusting if necessary.
- Requesting quotations for work performed by third parties.
