Description

As a Permits Advisor, you are the connecting link between the client and the government for energy projects. In the earliest project phase, you identify relevant permits and environmental requirements, make adjustments, and monitor processes to ensure projects do not get bogged down in procedures. You guide applications, write explanatory notes, and liaise with all involved parties.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher vocational or university education in urban planning, public administration, environmental science, political science or law.
  • Knowledge and experience with (environmental) permitting procedures.
  • Affinity with sustainable energy projects, such as solar energy, geothermal energy, hydrogen, and heat networks.
  • A good discussion partner at both substantive and management levels.
  • Accurate, clear communicator, and skilled at navigating between different interests.

Tasks

  • Advising on necessary permits and strategic choices in the initial phase of energy projects.
  • Guiding permitting processes from strategy to submission.
  • Writing explanatory notes and providing input for spatial justifications.
  • Coordinating sectoral investigations and liaising with competent authorities (municipalities, provinces, water boards).
  • Monitoring procedures and making adjustments to prevent delays.
  • Maintaining contact and liaising with all involved parties.
  • Supporting the realization of sustainable projects with attention to the living environment.
  • Participate in internal meetings and coordinate with your buddy and team manager regarding ongoing projects and development goals.
