Description
As an energy saving advisor, you work in an independent role with a lot of freedom. You help residents reduce their energy costs and pass on professional knowledge to new talent.
Job requirements
- Handy with tools and extensive DIY experience.
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy-saving measures.
- Social and empathetic; easily connects with diverse cultures.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- Patient, flexible, strong communicator, and proactive in various situations.
Tasks
You combine practical work with mentoring new talent. The specific tasks include:
- Conduct intakes and determine which energy-saving measures are necessary for each home.
- Carry out site surveys and perform minor repairs.
- Implement energy-saving measures and register work and materials.
- Supervising apprentice mechanics and teaching them trade and customer skills.
- Responsible for the execution and planning of the work.

- Working hours: 2 to 4 days per week (flexible).

Description of the organization
You work within a young organization that implements energy-saving measures for residents on behalf of the Municipality of Weststellingwerf. The goal is to reduce residents' energy costs by approximately 20 to 30% per year. For residents, both materials and execution are completely free.
