Shovel operator
Description
As a Shovel Operator at SFP Groningen (Farmsum), you are responsible for loading and unloading goods and raw materials using the shovel, internal transport on the site, and performing daily checks and simple maintenance on the shovel, with attention to a clean and safe working environment.
Job requirements
- Passionate professional who can handle stressful situations and be flexible.
- MBO education in Machinist, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Valid VCA certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
Tasks
- Loading and unloading of goods and raw materials for production.
- Internal transport of goods and raw materials on the site.
- Performing daily checks and simple maintenance on the shovel.
- Timely detection and reporting of defects in the shovel.
- Ensure a neat, tidy and safe working environment.

Description of the organization
SFP Group accelerates the energy transition by offering innovative solutions for the production of biomethane and biofuels from organic waste streams. The company has an operational plant in Westdorpe (Zeeland) and, with this plant, is one of the larger producers of green gas in Europe. The modern installations are designed for reproducibility and scalability, with a dual configuration for continuity in the event of failures.
