Project Leader Electrical Engineering & Mechanical Engineering

As an Electrical Engineering Project Manager in new construction, you translate technical designs into safe, comfortable living environments and serve as the primary point of contact for your team. You work on high-quality installations in apartments and residential areas.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Installation Technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical project management within residential construction.
• Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical installations (preferred).
• Experience with new construction and multi-story residential projects.
• In possession of, or willing to obtain, VCA-VOL.
• Decisive and technically skilled, with people-oriented leadership; stress-resistant and collaborative.

• You assemble your own project team and manage collaboration, planning, and quality.
• You monitor the budget and conduct risk analyses.
• You ensure clear communication with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• You conduct workplace inspections and ensure safety in the workplace.
• You work actively with the latest installation techniques within residential construction.
• You motivate and coach your team towards results and job satisfaction.
• You maintain an overview of projects such as stacked construction, ground-level homes, and smart installation technology.

You will be joining a progressive technical project agency active in sustainable residential construction. In the Groningen region, you will help build a new team within the Housing & New Construction department and collaborate with fellow project managers, work planners, engineers, and installers. The department is characterized by a collegial, committed, and professional atmosphere; initially, you will shadow an experienced colleague frequently to help you feel at home quickly. Projects range from sustainable apartment complexes to complete new housing developments, all focused on energy-efficient, comfortable, and smart living.
