As a Project Manager for Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, you lead technical projects within new construction and translate designs into a safe and comfortable living environment.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Installation Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project management within residential construction.
- Familiar with both electrical and mechanical installations (preferred).
- Experience with new construction and multi-story residential projects.
- You possess or are willing to obtain your VCA-VOL.
Tasks
- Working on high-quality electrical and mechanical installations in apartment complexes and residential areas.
- First point of contact for the project team.
- Managing collaboration, planning, and quality of the project team.
- Monitoring progress and the project budget.
- Conducting risk analyses.
- Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Conducting workplace inspections and ensuring safety in the workplace.
- Applying the latest installation techniques in residential construction.
- Motivating and coaching the team towards results and job satisfaction.
- Overseeing projects in multi-story buildings, ground-level housing, and smart building services technology.

In the Groningen region, you will build a new team within the 'Housing & New Construction' department. The work atmosphere is collegial, committed, and professional. Projects range from sustainable apartment complexes to complete new housing developments focused on energy-efficient, comfortable, and smart living. Initially, you will shadow an experienced colleague frequently to help you feel at home quickly.
