A work planner prepares mechanical installations in utility projects.
Tasks: drafting, material planning, calculations, and coordination of suppliers and installers.
Required: MBO-4 Mechanical Engineering and experience with AutoCAD or Revit.
Description
You ensure that mechanical engineering projects run smoothly from design to delivery. In this role, you combine engineering, planning, and coordination, and work on sustainable installations in schools, healthcare facilities, and office buildings. You maintain an overview, think ahead, and monitor planning, quality, and costs.
Job requirements
- Minimum MBO-4 diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Installation Technology.
- Completed MIT-W program or the ambition to obtain one.
- Experience as a work planner within utility projects.
- Knowledge of applicable standards and regulations within installation technology.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit; BIM is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and technical insight.
- Good command of the Dutch language in word and writing.
- Structured working, clear communication, and ownership of projects.
Tasks
- Responsible for the complete preparation of HVAC installations (HVAC, climate control, sanitary) for new construction and renovation.
- Develop technical installations and coordinate drafting in AutoCAD or Revit.
- Draw up the material and equipment plan and prepare the procurement.
- Prepare calculations and substantiate additional and reduced work.
- Monitor progress and liaise with the project leader, suppliers, and technicians.
- Identify technical bottlenecks and come up with appropriate solutions.
- Translating technical designs into tightly organized execution.
