Boutique Volunteer

The volunteer position supports presentation and sales within a thrift boutique. With your efforts, you contribute to a circular economy and to projects for children living in poverty.

• A sense of styling and attractive presentation of articles.
• Enjoyment of customer contact and advising customers.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply the pricing policy to introduced products.
• Can work well in a team, and also function independently.

• Sorts incoming clothing by usability and season.
• Prepares usable clothing for presentation in the store.
• Keep the store tidy and organized so that the range of products is displayed to its best advantage.
• Contributes, together with colleagues, to improving the presentation of the department.
• Ensures that unsaleable items end up in the correct waste stream.

• A pleasant workplace.
• The opportunity to contribute to projects for children in poverty and to a circular Netherlands.
• Flexible working hours; time of day and number of hours by mutual agreement.
• Preference for at least four hours per week to build a stable team together.
• Volunteer insurance.

The boutique focuses on women's fashion, interior design, lifestyle, and experience, and sells second-hand items with a story. The sales contribute to a circular economy.

The proceeds from the boutique go to a Christian foundation that supports projects for children in poverty and need in India and various African countries.
