Facilities Contract Manager
Description
As a Facilities Contract Manager, you work at the intersection of collaboration, contracts, and quality. You contribute directly to the organisation's primary process and help make service delivery future-proof. You are given the opportunity to improve existing contracts and build sustainable working relationships with colleagues and suppliers. The workplace is the office in Groningen; hybrid working is an option.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional education, preferably in Facility Management.
- Extensive experience with (European) tenders.
- Experience in drafting tender and contract documents.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written, and excellent command of the Dutch language.
- Careful and calm working style, even under pressure; sense of responsibility and assertiveness.
- Positive, proactive, and customer-oriented attitude; skilled in collaboration and focused on service delivery and improvements.
Tasks
- Drafting, managing, and evaluating contractual agreements with service providers.
- Monitoring supplier performance, including via KPIs and periodic evaluations.
- Fulfilling a connecting role between internal customers and suppliers, ensuring good coordination and clear agreements.
- Actively contributing ideas to and initiating improvements in service delivery.
- Collaborating with procurement on (European) tenders and ensuring suitable contracts that align with organisational objectives.
- Continuing and optimizing existing contracts and building sustainable relationships with suppliers.

Description of the organisation

You will be working within the Corporate Service Centre (CSC), where support services are brought together to deliver customer-oriented service at market-competitive costs. Within the CSC, you will be part of the HSC (Corporate Services) department, comprising the Accommodation & Events, Contract Management, CSC Customer Service, and Archives & Registry teams. The Contract Management team manages contracts with various service providers, such as cleaning, catering, grounds maintenance, fleet management, business travel, translations, and personal protective equipment.
