Recycling crane operator who operates a crane and shovel to load, unload, and sort waste.
Experience with crane or shovel operation or willingness to obtain certification is required; Dutch speaking.

Description
As a recycling crane operator, you process waste streams into new raw materials by operating a crane and shovel. You assist with loading and unloading, sort materials, perform minor maintenance, and help with customer contact and manual tasks. You are an all-rounder and indispensable to the recycling process.
Job requirements
- Practical and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Experience operating a crane, shovel, or other earthmoving equipment, or willingness to obtain the appropriate certificate.
- Attention to safety and the ability to work well together in a team.
- Flexible and willing to take on varied tasks.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Place of residence within approximately 40 kilometers of Meppel.
Tasks
- Loading, unloading, and moving waste streams with the crane.
- Sorting materials such as construction and demolition waste, paper, plastic, and metals.
- Operating machines such as a shovel and mobile crane.
- Assisting with the loading of containers and trucks.
- Checking the condition of the crane and reporting any malfunctions.
- Performing minor maintenance on equipment.
- Ensuring a neat, safe, and structured work environment.
- Assisting customers at the recycling center and performing manual tasks.

- Temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position; agency contract possible.
