Ready to take the energy transition to the next level? We are looking for a Senior Safety Specialist who takes responsibility and strengthens the safety culture.
You work in state-of-the-art power plants in Eemshaven, Lelystad, and Burgum and play a key role within the safety domain.
Job requirements
- Completed HVK training or equivalent at HBO level.
- Extensive experience with safety, preferably in the (chemical) process industry or electricity production.
- Experience with ISO 45001.
- Driving license and willingness to travel between the central locations in Eemshaven, Lelystad, and Burgum.
- Fluent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Strategic thinker and doer with strong communication skills; seeks collaboration and can inspire and motivate others.
Tasks
- Taking charge of sub-projects and implementing them.
- Strengthening the HSEQ team as a safety expert.
- Developing and implementing strategic security policy.
- Providing workshops and information in the workplace.
- Alternating work at different locations and switching between strategic and operational work.
