Crane operator responsible for loading, unloading, and sorting waste streams using a crane and shovel.
Experience with a crane or shovel, a practical attitude, and a good command of Dutch are required.

Description
As a recycling crane operator, you process waste streams into new raw materials by operating a crane and other earthmoving equipment.
Job requirements
- Practical attitude and willingness to perform physical work.
- Experience operating a crane, shovel, or other earthmoving equipment.
- Attention to safety and the ability to work well together in a team.
- Flexibility regarding varied tasks.
- Good command of Dutch.
- Residing within approximately 40 kilometers of Meppel.
- Willingness to obtain necessary certificates if not yet in possession.
- Education level: VMBO/MAVO.
Tasks
- Operating the crane for loading, unloading, and moving waste streams.
- Sorting materials such as construction and demolition waste, paper, plastic, and metals.
- Operating machines such as a shovel and mobile crane, and assisting with the loading of containers and trucks.
- Checking the condition of the crane and reporting any malfunctions.
- Performing minor maintenance and manual labor where necessary.
- Ensuring a neat, safe, and structured work environment.
- Occasionally help customers at the recycling center.
