Description
As a trainee gas fitter, you are at the foundation of the energy transition. You will complete a recognized MBO level 3 program and work at various locations in your region. In this role, you will develop technical knowledge of gas technology and contribute to a reliable gas network.
Job requirements
- Motivation to pursue an MBO level 3 education and associated safety training, or to have completed them.
- Good command of the Dutch language.
- Driving License B.
- Living in the Drenthe or South Groningen region due to emergency services.
Tasks
- Complete an accredited MBO level 3 training course to become a gas fitter.
- Working under the guidance of an experienced buddy and learning from practical work.
- Performing inspection and maintenance work on gas installations.
- Detecting and resolving faults and implementing network improvements.
- Learning how to renovate gas pipelines and detect gas leaks.
- Participate in breakdown services and, through development, function independently as an on-call breakdown technician for low- and high-pressure networks.
- Driving a company van to various locations and supplying customers with natural and green gas.
Working conditions
- Contribution of 70% to the ABP Choice Pension.
- Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month equal to 10,7% of the gross annual salary; flexible to use.
- Compensation of €455 gross for on-call and breakdown services; extra payment for hours worked during breakdowns and additional leave days.
- Outpatient allowance of €80 gross per month.
- Laptop or tablet and telephone that may be used privately.
- Full reimbursement of the MBO level 3 training by the employer.
- Your own fully equipped company van with tools from day one.
