Project Leader Energy Transition within the Sustainability team, part of the Living Environment Domain.

You are working on the energy transition with the goal of a climate-neutral Heerenveen by 2050, focusing on, among other things, a fossil-free built environment, future-proof charging infrastructure, and a smarter, stronger energy system.

Job requirements

  • HBO+ working and thinking level and seniority.
  • Experience with project-based work and realizing plans.
  • Experience can vary: working within a municipal context (administrative sensitivity, instruments such as subsidies), solar and wind energy projects, the social domain (energy poverty), or collaboration with companies.

Tasks

  • Translating ambitious goals into a clear project approach and executing it.
  • Providing substantive leadership to project staff.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
  • Advising and liaising with the Alderman for Energy Transition, the Municipal Executive, and the Municipal Council.
  • Working on themes such as energy conservation, insulation, and energy poverty; fossil-free mobility and charging infrastructure; energy generation (solar and wind) and storage; heat networks; and grid congestion.

Working conditions

  • Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17,05% of the gross salary, with which you put together part of the employment conditions yourself.
  • Travel allowance €0,23 per kilometer, maximum 60 kilometers per day.
  • Work-from-home allowance: €3,25 per day that you work from home.
  • Statutory leave 144 hours per calendar year and 57,6 hours of non-statutory leave (based on 36 hours per week); non-statutory leave can be converted into leave accrual.
  • Pension accrual through the ABP.
  • Flexible working method: you choose when, where, and how you do your work (hybrid).
  • Alignment with a good collective labor agreement.
