Requirements: Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level and experience in a civil discipline such as concrete or foundations.
Work takes place nationwide, with a significant presence at project locations in the Northern Netherlands.
Description
In this position, you are responsible for the technical quality and control of civil works within energy infrastructure projects, particularly at high-voltage substations.
You act as a connecting link between design, execution, and subcontractors and are primarily present at project locations in the Northern Netherlands, based in Heerenveen.
Job requirements
- HBO working and thinking level.
- Mid-level work experience in civil engineering or construction.
- Experience within a specific civil discipline, such as concrete, earthworks, foundations, or buildings.
Tasks
- Monitoring civil engineering quality within projects.
- Verify whether designs and executed work meet the specified requirements.
- Checking civil works at project sites and at prefab suppliers.
- Managing and evaluating civil/structural subcontractors.
- Identifying and resolving deviations in design and execution.
- Coordinating with internal civil engineers and project teams.
- Act as a technical point of contact for civil matters.
- Planning of one's own work; a high degree of independence and direct communication with colleagues regarding technical issues.
