Description
As a Junior Energy Transition Advisor, you will work within the municipality's Energy Transition portfolio and contribute to making sustainability accessible to residents, with an emphasis on coaching, unburdening, and subsidy support.
Job requirements
- The candidate is not self-employed; this position is embedded in the organization and requires hierarchical management.
- Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level with a degree in sustainability, environmental science, or social geography.
- Demonstrable affinity with the energy transition and with social issues within the inclusive energy transition.
- Demonstrable examples of bridging policy and implementation and translating processes into practice.
- Demonstrable experience in writing council proposals.
- Basic knowledge of subsidy schemes (e.g. ISDE and/or NIP).
- Preference: residing in the region (maximum approximately 35 km).
- Wish: specific training, traineeship, or education in the field of energy transition.
- Desired: experience with data management and processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way to residents and initiators.
- Competencies: self-starting (proactive) and style flexibility.
- Proficiency in the Dutch language is mandatory.
Tasks
- Advising local initiators on further developing their energy transition initiatives and making them feasible.
- Holding conversations with residents and coaching them on feasible sustainability solutions.
- Encouraging and unburdening residents in making their homes more sustainable, with a focus on accessible and inclusive solutions.
- Translating complex subsidy schemes into clear processes and efficiently utilizing available schemes.
- Guiding the rollout of the NIP scheme, handling objections, and direct contact with the implementing organization (role as subsidy assistant).
- Contributing ideas from a policy perspective on optimizing processes so that policy and implementation are better aligned.
- Data-driven working to support the communication strategy surrounding the NIP scheme.
- Ensuring the quality, integrity, and feasibility of initiatives and processes, including involving relevant stakeholders and maintaining control.
Working conditions
- Desired number of hours: 20-24 hours per week.
- Employment type: secondment (possibilities for secondment or a hiring arrangement will be discussed).
- Procedure: upon a match, agreements regarding the rate are made in advance; FlexIntens prepares the proposal and provides updates on the progress.
- Proposals require a CV, an explanation of how the requirements are met, and a cover letter.
- The remuneration structure may follow the client's hirer's remuneration model, depending on the chosen structure.
