Description
You will use your communication skills for a temporary project to inform residents and raise awareness about energy conservation. You will conduct neighborhood discussions, provide information on subsidy schemes, and schedule follow-up appointments with certified energy coaches; this is not a sales assignment.
Job requirements
- Socially and communicatively strong.
- Able to work independently and presentably in the neighborhood.
- Affinity with resident contact and/or neighborhood-oriented work.
- Basic knowledge of energy conservation, or the ability to quickly acquire it.
- Speak good Dutch.
- Minimum understanding of Frisian; speaking Frisian is a plus.
- Practical and proactive.
- Certification as an energy coach is not required.
Tasks
- Carrying out door-to-door campaigns in designated streets.
- Engaging in personal conversations with residents about energy conservation and sustainability options.
- Explain municipal and national subsidy schemes.
- Answering questions about the grant process.
- Scheduling follow-up appointments with certified energy coaches.
- Identifying additional requests for assistance.
- Manning a mobile coffee cart as an accessible information point.
- Carefully record contact moments and agreements made.
- Conducting kitchen table conversations is not part of the assignment.
Working conditions
