Job requirements

  • Likes to take the initiative and is curious.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills.
  • Student or recent graduate of a university or college (e.g. Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, European Studies, Business Administration, Geography, Sustainability).
  • Can organize (online) events.
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of the European Union, the priorities of the European Commission, and European subsidy programs is an advantage.
  • The nature of the internship requires some flexibility regarding availability.

Tasks

  • Mapping European opportunities on relevant themes.
  • Assisting with writing project proposals and project management.
  • Organizing internal and external (international) project and networking meetings.
  • Writing press releases, website copy, and social media posts, and maintaining the Europe intranet page.
  • Planning, preparing, and taking minutes of meetings.
  • Carrying out a specific internship assignment.
