Description of the organization

SMST is an internationally oriented company that conceives, designs, and builds innovative systems for the offshore and maritime industry. We supply systems for the safe transfer of personnel and cargo from ships to offshore installations, with a focus on renewable energy, particularly offshore wind.

SMST is the market leader in mission equipment (gangway with tower and 3D crane) and distinguishes itself through a fully in-house approach: from design to production, assembly and testing, to worldwide installation, service, and customer support. The systems are continuously under development.

From Drachten, we continuously take on the technical challenge; our approximately 180 employees are given the space to grow with our success. SMST has an informal and pleasant working atmosphere within a dynamic work environment with short lines of communication. At SMST, you work directly with the products, because we produce and test them at the same location.
