Description
You work within the energy transition portfolio, where social issues surrounding the inclusive energy transition play a key role. You contribute to making sustainability accessible to residents, with a strong focus on coaching, unburdening, and subsidy support. You operate at the intersection of policy and implementation, translating complex regulations into understandable and workable solutions for residents and local initiatives.
Job requirements
- Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working with a degree in sustainability, environmental science, or social geography.
- Demonstrable affinity with the energy transition and with social issues within the inclusive energy transition.
- Demonstrable examples of bridging policy and implementation and translating processes into practice.
- Demonstrable experience in writing council proposals.
- Basic knowledge of subsidy schemes (e.g. ISDE and/or NIP).
- Residing in the region (maximum distance of 35 km) as a selection criterion.
- Specific training, a traineeship, or education in the field of energy transition is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience with data management and processing.
- Good communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in an understandable way to residents and initiators.
Tasks
- Engaging in dialogue with local initiators and advising them on further developing initiatives and making them feasible.
- Engaging in conversations with residents and, from a coaching role, providing practical input on feasible sustainability solutions.
- Encouraging and unburdening residents in making their homes more sustainable, with a focus on accessible and inclusive solutions.
- Translating complex subsidy schemes into clear processes and investigating how these can be used effectively.
- Guiding the rollout of the NIP scheme, handling objections, and direct contact with the implementing organisation.
- Contributing ideas to optimize processes so that policy and implementation are better aligned.
- Data-driven working to deploy communication strategies surrounding the NIP scheme.
- Ensuring the quality, integrity, and feasibility of initiatives and processes.
- Involving relevant stakeholders, carefully managing various interests, and maintaining control throughout all phases.
