As a Mechanical Technician, you are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sanitary installations within utility projects. You work with multidisciplinary teams on sustainable, innovative projects and are given opportunities for training and career advancement.
Job requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience as a Technician W in installation technology.
- Completed education at MBO level 3 or 4 in installation technology.
- Knowledge of and experience with reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience with utility projects.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Mastery of the Dutch language in speech and writing.
- In possession of a valid VCA certificate or willing to obtain one.
- Independent, flexible, solution-oriented, and accurate, with an eye for detail and safety.
Tasks
- Installing sanitary pipes, taps, toilets and other sanitary facilities.
- Connecting and commissioning sanitary installations according to drawings and specifications.
- Performing maintenance work and troubleshooting.
- Checking and testing installations for functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with project managers, fellow mechanics and other specialists.
- Identify deviations and advise on possible improvements.
- Comply with safety regulations and work in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.
