Job requirements

  • Must-haves:
    • Vocational or higher vocational degree in Industrial Automation, Control Engineering, Measurement and Control Technology, or a related field
    • Experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens
    • Experience with industrial control systems and FAT/SAT
    • Good command of Dutch and English
  • Nice-to-haves:
    • Experience in the process industry, biogas, or similar sectors
    • Knowledge of electrical engineering
    • Familiarity with control narratives and safeguarding

Tasks

  • Participate in the entire process from engineering and programming to testing and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers, E&I Engineers, Project Managers and Commissioning Engineers on international projects.
  • Develop and test PLC software, primarily for Siemens.
  • Configure operating systems and system architectures.
  • Prepare and conduct FAT and SAT tests.
  • Support startup and commissioning of systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and anomalies.
  • Standardize and improve software and work processes.
  • Work closely with colleagues from various disciplines.
