In the Elsloo region, you manage the entire process from design to realization of high-voltage projects and translate sustainability and grid reinforcement objectives into technically feasible solutions. In this role, you work closely with grid operators, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a future-proof energy supply.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher vocational or university education in electrical engineering, energy technology or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management of high-voltage projects (stations, cables, grid reinforcements).
  • Demonstrable knowledge of high-voltage systems, grid codes, NEN standards, and relevant legislation and regulations (such as BEI) or equivalent.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams within the high-voltage or energy sector.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical skills and a results-oriented attitude.

Tasks

  • Managing high-voltage projects, such as new construction and expansion of substations, cable routes, and grid reinforcements.
  • Coordinating engineers, designers, and contractors within multidisciplinary project teams, including high-voltage and civil engineering specialists.
  • Coordinating with grid operators, contractors, municipalities, and other stakeholders in the Elsloo region.
  • Identifying technical and commercial opportunities and contributing to project acquisition within the high-voltage market.
  • Reporting on progress, risks and results to management and clients.
  • Monitoring planning, quality, safety and budget throughout the entire project process.
