Description
Senior High-Voltage Technician working with colleagues in the Northern Netherlands on a reliable and innovative electricity network. You have responsibility and impact, and help ensure that high-voltage substations can handle the growing energy demand. Working safely and ensuring quality and reliability are paramount.
Job requirements
- Minimum MBO-2 level in electrical engineering or automotive technology.
- Experience as a fitter in a relevant field and the drive to learn everything about high voltage and develop into a technician.
- VCA certificate and preferably BHV (First Aid) certificate, or motivation to obtain this through the employer.
- Driving license B, so you can drive your van to locations yourself.
- Working on electrical and mechanical installations energizes you; you work accurately and with concentration, and communicate clearly.
- You listen carefully to colleagues, are reliable, focused on safe working practices, and strive for the highest quality.
Tasks
- Inspecting and maintaining high-voltage installations, including power transformers (110 kV/10 kV), switches, rectifiers and batteries.
- Carrying out improvements and renewals to installations.
- Working on projects to expand or replace installations.
- Always work together according to the four-eyes principle with a technical specialist or team leader.
- Driving from home to work locations in a fully equipped company van.
- On call for one week once every six weeks, during which you are available by phone 24/7 and receive additional compensation for this.
- Mentoring fellow mechanics who are new to the trade, provided you have the necessary experience yourself.

- Do you work on-call and breakdown services? Then you will receive compensation of €380 gross per full on-call week.

- During the first year of your child's life, there is a scheme for 9 weeks at which 70% of your daily wage is reimbursed.
Description of the organization
You work with colleagues in Groningen and Drenthe on a reliable and innovative electricity network. Within the realization team, you work closely with around 30 colleagues, including technicians, technical specialists, construction engineers, site managers, planners, and materials managers.
