Energy Transition Advisor Built Environment

As an Energy Transition Advisor for the Built Environment, you help clients make buildings more sustainable and reduce CO₂ emissions. You work on analysis and advisory projects and translate these into feasible designs and plans, with attention to the comfort, health, and safety of users. You guide sustainability projects from initiation to completion for real estate owners, housing associations, and commercial parties, among others.

• Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in installation technology, energy technology, or sustainability.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in energy transition, sustainability, or building management.
• Valid EP-U(b) or EP Advisor certification.
• Experience with building simulation software (such as Vabi Elements).
• Knowledge of sustainable installations, energy concepts, and circular materials.
• Experience with project management and collaboration with implementing parties.
• Knowledge of subsidy schemes (such as EIA and ISDE) is an advantage.
• Good communication and reporting skills and proficiency in the Dutch language.
• Affinity with sustainability.

• Conducting energy scans and building inspections.
• Drafting analyses and advisory reports.
• Translating advice into feasible designs and plans.
• Performing building simulations (e.g. with Vabi Elements).
• Project supervision during the execution phase and coordination with executing parties.
• Ensuring attention to the comfort, health, and safety of users.
