Electrical Contractor
Description
Responsible for ensuring that the expansion, upgrading, and maintenance of the electricity grid in the Groningen region are carried out safely and on schedule. You serve as a role model out in the field and are regularly present on location to supervise work. You prepare projects in collaboration with work planners, other site managers, and engineers.
Job requirements
- MBO-4 diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Several years of supervisory experience in the technical field, for example as a lead mechanic or site supervisor.
- Willingness to follow all training and courses necessary to become a fully-fledged executor.
- Safety attitude adopted: "We work safely, or we don't work" and willing to address others about this.
- Proficiency in finding technical solutions and responding quickly to malfunctions.
- Ability to explain to clients what is going on in a clear and understandable way.
- Coaching skills to help colleagues grow in craftsmanship and safety.
Tasks
- Ensuring that work related to maintenance, breakdowns, inspections, and replacement projects is carried out safely and on schedule.
- Leading activities from preparation to completion and ensuring compliance with work processes, rules, and safety regulations.
- Supervise the execution and monitor quality, safety, and progress.
- Performing switching operations.
- Writing work plans and framework agreements.
- Assist in the execution of the Annual Order Book.
- Performing on-call duties for breakdowns (approximately once every 5 to 6 weeks).
Working conditions
