Description

As a Junior Sustainability Data & Compliance Specialist, you support the implementation of sustainability legislation within the organization. You are part of the Legal and Technics team and work closely with Sustainability. You ensure that the organization has the correct data and documentation to comply with European legislation such as PPWR, CSRD, EUDR, and GPSR. The emphasis is on hands-on work: collecting, verifying, and structuring data to ensure information is complete and usable. You report to the Head of Technics and Regulatory Affairs.

Job requirements

  • HBO/WO working and thinking level (e.g. sustainability, environmental science, biology, chemistry, supply chain or similar)
  • 2–4 years of work experience
  • Strong in administration and data processing
  • Accurate and persistent
  • Dares to approach people and follows up when necessary
  • Proficient with Excel or similar tools and systems
  • Interest in laws and regulations
  • Proficient in the English language

Tasks

  • Requesting sustainability information from suppliers and colleagues
  • Identifying and following up on missing or inconsistent data
  • Checking, cleaning, and improving available data quality
  • Populating and managing sustainability platforms
  • Assisting with reports, audits, and documentation
