Description

As a Lead Operator, you coordinate the operation within the shift and ensure a stable and safe production process at a large-scale chemical production site in Delfzijl.

Job requirements

  • Completed VAPRO B, AOT or MTS Process Technology.
  • Experience in the chemical industry is preferred.
  • Shows leadership within the team.
  • Remains calm and decisive under pressure.
  • Thinking ahead and sees opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English.

Tasks

  • Starting and stopping units and installations.
  • Blocking in and out and securing of installation parts.
  • Carrying out inspection rounds and adjusting installations.
  • Coordinating activities within the team.
  • Analyzing and optimizing process flows.
  • Performing failure analyses and structurally solving bottlenecks.
  • Intensive collaboration with the control room, maintenance and production.
  • Reporting to the Production Lead.

Working conditions

  • Team allowance (30%).
  • 8% holiday pay.
  • Fixed year-end bonus equal to one month's salary.
