Cables & Pipelines Engineer
The position involves the design and optimization of underground networks for electricity, gas, and water. Key tasks include design, processing technical data, calculations, and coordination with project teams. A secondary vocational (MBO) or higher professional (HBO) diploma in a technical field is required, as well as working in multidisciplinary project teams.
Description
In this role, you design and optimize underground infrastructures for electricity, gas, and water. You combine technical design with practical engineering and work in multidisciplinary project teams. You will have the opportunity to deepen your technical knowledge and work on challenging infrastructure projects with a visible impact on the living environment.
Job requirements
- MBO or HBO diploma in a technical field
- Affinity with underground infrastructure and networks
- Accurate and structured work attitude
- Good communicative skills
- Good command of the Dutch language
Tasks
- Assisting in the design of underground infrastructure for electricity, water, and gas networks
- Collecting, processing and verifying technical data
- Coordinating with contractors, designers, and project managers
- Preparation of calculations and technical drawings
- Monitoring quality, safety, and compliance with laws and regulations
