Commissioning Engineer
Commissioning Engineer who tests and commissions secondary high-voltage installations. Leads technicians, coordinates tests, and liaises with engineering regarding technical issues. MBO+/HBO, minimum two years of experience, and BEI certification for LV and HV required.
Description
As a Commissioning Engineer, you ensure that secondary high-voltage installations are commissioned safely, accurately, and on schedule.
You combine technical knowledge with leadership and work closely with mechanics and engineering.
Job requirements
- MBO+ or HBO diploma in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or as an experienced mechanic.
- Affinity with high-voltage installations; experience in the energy sector is a plus.
- Holds BEI certification for low and high voltage (LV and HV).
Tasks
- Testing and inspection of secondary high-voltage installations, including switching time measurements and cold wire checks.
- Checking drawings for assembly and disassembly.
- Managing a team of secondary mechanics on site.
- Identifying technical bottlenecks and liaising with engineering.
- Consulting with the client regarding progress and technical issues.
- Completing and checking test and inspection reports in preparation for handover.
