Tasks: supporting the site manager, managing teams, and monitoring planning and safety.
Required: MBO/HBO working and thinking level and interest in underground infrastructure.
Description
Are you at the start of your career and do you want to work outdoors on projects that matter? In this position, you will support the site manager and project leader, learn on the job, and grow step by step into the role of site manager. Location: Leeuwarden.
Job requirements
- MBO or HBO working and thinking level (technical background is a plus).
- Interest in underground infrastructure and technology.
- You enjoy working outdoors and getting your hands dirty.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to maintain an overview.
- Eagerness to learn and the ambition to grow into the role of site manager.
Tasks
- Supporting the site manager and project leader with daily management.
- Managing mechanics, groundworkers, and subcontractors (with supervision).
- Monitoring planning, safety, and progress.
- Coordinating with the client and involved parties.
- Assisting on location and ensuring that work proceeds smoothly.
Working conditions
- 25 days of vacation and 13 ADV days.
- Company car with fuel map.
- Guidance and training towards becoming a site manager.
- Working in a close-knit and practical team.

You will be working for a client specializing in underground cables, pipelines, and energy networks. The organisation works on projects related to gas, water, electricity, and sustainable energy such as solar and wind. You will work in a fixed construction team with site managers, work planners, and engineers, contributing to strengthening the energy grid in Friesland.
