Field Service Manager
Leads field service and installation operations to ensure global delivery and performance of hydrogen refueling systems.

Description
Based in Assen, Drenthe, this role builds a global, professional field service and installation organisation for high‑tech hydrogen refueling stations. It serves as the crucial link between technology, customers and the wider organisation, translating strategy into a scalable operational service that drives customer satisfaction, growth and innovation.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's-level working and thinking, preferably in a technical field.
- Experience in a technical environment (for example machine building or installation engineering).
- Proven experience with field service, installation and commissioning.
- Experience managing teams and developing people.
- Strong in process improvement and project-based work.
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Affinity with energy, hydrogen or zero-emission mobility is a plus.
- Confident, enthusiastic leader with a passion for technology and service and the ambition to grow.
Tasks
- Translate the business plan into concrete objectives for installation, commissioning and service.
- Develop a clear vision of field operations as a commercial growth driver.
- Prepare annual plans and KPIs and actively manage performance.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of approximately 15–20 professionals.
- Coach employees on ownership, craftsmanship and collaboration.
- Ensure efficient planning and deployment, including international assignments.
- Safeguard smooth handover of projects to installation and commissioning.
- Contribute to the development of service contracts and maintenance services.
- Play a key role throughout the product lifecycle, from installation at customer sites to long‑term performance and support.
