Description
As an Industrial Project Manager, you are responsible for leading mono- and multidisciplinary projects from the tender phase through to delivery. You manage teams and act as a liaison between management and execution, with a focus on sustainability, customer relationships, and achieving project objectives.
Job requirements
- HBO working and thinking level with a degree in civil engineering or another relevant degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a project leader with a proven track record in managing multi-technical projects.
- Knowledge and experience with various contract forms, such as UAV/UAV-GC, EPC, or client-specific contracts.
- Familiarity with HSE management systems and prioritizing safety in all project phases.
- Commercially skilled, customer-oriented, and able to ask the 'question behind the question'.
- Clear communication style and the ability to think from the big picture and seize new opportunities.
Tasks
- Involvement from the tender phase, including assessment of content, approach, and contract forms.
- After winning a tender, assemble a project team and lead it, tailored to complexity and required expertise.
- Supplement the team with specialists, for example in the fields of sustainability, system engineering, and contract management.
- Leading and realizing projects such as data centers, hydrogen-related projects, wind turbines, and large-scale battery storage.
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within quality requirements, and that customer expectations are met.
- Implementing sustainability measures, such as material recycling, alternative energy, and zero-emission construction.
- Acting as a connecting link between management and the operational core and giving substance to TGKIO factors (time, money, quality, information, and organization).
- Managing contracts and handling the financial settlement of projects.
