Description
In this operational role, you manage meter cabinet work, act as a point of contact and coach for technicians, and combine technical tasks with organizational and administrative responsibilities.
Job requirements
- MBO-4 diploma in one of the following fields: Senior Gas, Water, or Heat Distribution Technician; Gas professional context; Infrastructure Gas Technician; Underground Infrastructure Technician, Gas specialization (KIWA); or Intermediate Gas Technology (KIWA).
- Administrative skills and a proactive attitude.
- Willingness to attend training and courses.
Tasks
- Ensuring that meter cabinet work is carried out safely, professionally, and on schedule.
- Acting as a point of contact for field technicians and providing substantive and practical support with bottlenecks.
- Guiding and coaching new and experienced mechanics so that they perform their work safely and professionally.
- Creating good cooperation and atmosphere within the team and acting as a link between technicians and work planners.
- Collaborate with other branches and contribute to technical and process improvements to carry out work more efficiently.
- Handling organizational and administrative tasks, such as preparing and leading team meetings and maintaining and structuring work processes and progress reports.
- Actively promoting and applying safety as the highest priority (motto: We work safely, or we don't work at all).
Working conditions
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week.
- No on-call service for breakdowns.
- Assignment via Interlancing/secondment, approximately 13 months; one-year assignment contract with the intention of extension and permanent employment.
- Not a self-employed person.
- At least one day of working from home is possible; half days of working from home are also negotiable, everything in consultation.
- Business mileage: 2400 per 4 weeks, to be included in the rate.
