Field Service Engineer Central
Field service engineer for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at customers in central and southern the Netherlands.
Required: Secondary vocational education and experience with hydraulics and/or mechanics.
You work from a service van and are employed directly by the client.
Description
As a field service engineer, you will work from a service van at customers in central and southern the Netherlands on high-tech installations and machines for recycling and sorting systems. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and act as the point of contact for customers. You will be employed directly by the client.
Job requirements
- MBO education.
- Knowledge and experience with hydraulics and/or mechanics/mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and control engineering, or willingness to acquire this through training.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel.
- Good command of Dutch and English; German and/or French is a plus.
- Experience with electric and/or inert gas welding is a plus.
- Willingness to perform on-call duties.
Tasks
- Tracing faults and resolving them (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic).
- Installing and commissioning machines at customer sites.
- Performing preventive maintenance to prevent problems.
- Devising solutions on the spot and acting immediately.
- Instructing customers on the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Acting as the point of contact and calling map of the organization.
Working conditions
- Directly employed by the client.
- Part-time or full-time possible.
- Fully equipped company service van.
- Work on the weekend once every six weeks.
