Strategic Advisor Physical Living Environment
Description

We are looking for a strategic advisor who fathoms the complexity and interconnectedness of spatial issues and guides clients in the design of the physical living environment. You will work on integrated spatial challenges related to urbanization, energy, landscape, climate, and the environment, and translate vision into concrete choices that provide direction to projects.
Job requirements
- Completed design education, for example landscape architecture or urban planning, or demonstrable experience at this level.
- Experience with integrated area development challenges in both urban and rural areas.
- Affinity with design research, strategic consulting, and policy making.
- Experience working in environments with diverse interests.
- Strong visual and verbal skills in articulating development directions.
- A well-maintained network and lasting relationships with clients.
- Political and administrative sensitivity and a collaborative attitude.
- Experience working within interdisciplinary project teams.
Tasks
- Developing visions and development strategies for complex spatial challenges.
- Advising clients on strategic choices in the physical living environment.
- Visualizing and connecting spatial themes such as landscape, urban planning, housing, climate, energy, and environment.
- Gaining insight into interests and dilemmas and working on solutions with societal and political support.
- Employing imaginative means and clear text to substantiate choices and communicate persuasively.
- Identifying market opportunities and actively contributing to acquisition and quotations.
- Contribute to participatory processes and area-based collaboration.
- Collaborating in interdisciplinary teams and acting as a strong discussion partner for colleagues, specialists, clients, and executives.
