Description

Design smart solutions and realize impactful changes within the Realization Management team. The role involves involvement in projects from initiation to completion and acting as a dedicated point of contact for clients. You will work from the Groningen, Leeuwarden, or Arnhem offices on diverse projects, including Design & Construct and Client-Delegated Assignments.

Job requirements

  • Completed higher professional or university degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
  • At least four years of relevant work experience as an independent project manager.
  • Knowledge of (environmental) permit processes and political and organizational sensitivity.
  • Commercial mindset; bringing a relevant network is a plus.
  • Intrinsic motivation to make daily contributions to improving the living environment.

Tasks

  • Working on projects that vary greatly in nature and scale, offering a lot of variety in technical content and work environment.
  • Focusing on four focus areas: waste industry, sports, developers, and healthcare institutions.
  • Be involved from the initiation phase through to completion and serve as the dedicated point of contact for the client.
  • Exercising influence on design, practical feasibility, quality, and planning.
  • Managing the design process for site layout, paving, sewerage, water management, accessibility, and infrastructure surrounding buildings and installations.
  • Setting up the project team and taking on internal and external project management.
  • Managing consultants, designers, and contractors, and monitoring progress, costs, and quality through to delivery.
  • Acquiring projects and managing multiple clients.
