Job requirements

  • Demonstrable experience depending on the position: experience as a roller operator, shovel operator, crane operator, groundworker, roofer, or agricultural contractor as stated in the vacancy.
  • For roller operator: experience with various rollers is a plus; for juniors, interest in and willingness to undergo internal training is desired.

  • Technical insight, accuracy, and physical fitness suitable for work on construction sites and grounds.

  • Performing basic checks, daily minor maintenance, and checks on the machine.
  • Identifying irregularities and unsafe situations and coordinating these with the supervisor or colleagues.

  • Laying out and maintaining gardens, paving, and planting; performing pruning, mowing, and weeding work (gardening tasks).
  • Coordinating and managing roofing work, installing and replacing bitumen, EPDM, and PVC, and performing repairs and maintenance (foreman roofing duties).
  • Operating shovels and cranes, performing excavation and relocation work, sorting and moving waste streams at recycling sites.
  • Performing agricultural contract work such as fertilizing and harvesting, and taking care of the maintenance of agricultural equipment.

Working conditions

  • Working in a stable, down-to-earth, and close-knit work environment with a collegial atmosphere.
  • Varied projects in the region and modern, well-maintained equipment fleets.
  • Opportunities for education, further training, career advancement, and internal guidance, particularly for juniors.
  • Market-rate employment conditions in accordance with the applicable collective labor agreement and additional secondary employment conditions.
  • Own tools, work clothing or facilities for this, and opportunities for certifications.
  • Contracts range from one-year contracts with the prospect of permanent employment to full-time positions; travel allowance or a company car may be offered.
  • Opportunity to work in experienced teams, with a focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation (e.g., circularity projects).
