Internship focused on manure processing and fermentation, with a focus on applications of processed manure products in arable farming, dairy farming, and bulb cultivation. Location: Drachten. Start date by mutual agreement.
Job requirements
- Higher professional or university education in a relevant field, for example agriculture, environmental science, applied biology, soil science or sustainable technology.
- Interested in manure processing, sustainable agriculture and renewable energy.
- Experience within the agricultural sector is desirable.
- Good command of the Dutch language, both oral and written.
- Independent, proactive, and skilled in communication; comfortable in a down-to-earth, approach-oriented work environment.
Tasks
- Working within the theme of manure digestion and processing, including applications of biogas, digestate, RENURE fertilizers, and the solid fraction of manure.
- Developing an automated advisory report for the manure processing sector to support advisors faster and more efficiently.
- Conducting research into the application of processed fertilizer products in tulip cultivation through literature studies and practical research, with the possibility of expanding to other crops.
- Regularly accompany clients on customer visits, participate in study groups and meetings.
- Making plans and appointments independently, taking initiative, and expanding the network within and outside the organization.
