Description
You are responsible for land acquisition to actually get sustainable energy projects off the ground. You work on projects in Groningen and Friesland, such as the laying of cable routes, substations, and connections to solar and wind farms. You arrange agreements with landowners so that projects can start.
Job requirements
- Higher professional education in real estate, property management, or a similar field.
- At least five years of experience in land acquisition and land affairs.
- Financial and legal insight into land use.
- Knowledge of infrastructure projects or agriculture is an advantage.
- Member or prospective member of the NVR or completed training as a land steward.
- Strong communication skills and an understanding of interests and stakeholders.
Tasks
- Negotiating the purchase, use, or lease of land for cables, pipelines, and stations.
- Drafting and elaborating legal documents and compensation schemes.
- Facilitating kitchen table discussions with landowners and explaining project content.
- Coordinating with internal colleagues such as legal experts, environmental managers, and technicians regarding progress and conditions.
- Contribute ideas and make suggestions to improve the land acquisition process.
- Visiting sites and drafting contracts and agreements following field visits.
