Cluster Manager Automation System

The Cluster Manager Marine Automation Systems is a position at Eekels | TBI at the Emmen location. The role reports to the Business Unit Manager and is responsible for the functioning of the cluster in terms of personnel, quality, and improvements.

• Completed higher professional education in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least five years of experience as a project manager in this or a similar industry.
• Experience with automation projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of contract management.
• Knowledge of the project management method Prince2 is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of MS Project and MS Office.
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.

• Managing a group of hardware and software engineers and a project leader.
• Conducting annual interviews, assessing and supporting colleagues within the cluster.
• Provide insight into capacity requirements and allocate capacity to project teams.
• Chairing cluster meetings and informing colleagues about organizational information, including quality and safety.
• Selecting new colleagues during expansion and overseeing employee development.
• Helping to shape the technical system development of the cluster’s own automation platform.
• Actively contribute to the Business Unit's strategy by writing strategic and operational plans.
• Actively involved in quotations and approving calculations and quotations.
• Depending on the project size, act as project manager within the cluster.
