Description

As Design Leader, you lead the design team and manage disciplines to realize feasible civil engineering designs within applicable requirements and regulations.

Job requirements

  • HBO/WO level with a civil engineering background.
  • Work experience in multidisciplinary civil engineering projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a project manager or design manager of civil engineering projects.
  • Demonstrable experience with System Engineering and UAV-GC.
  • Open attitude and coaching ability.
  • Proactive, responsible, and strong organizational skills.
  • Work accurately and analytically; be able to collaborate well as a team player.

Tasks

  • Leading the design team and managing all disciplines within the project.
  • Responsible for creating a feasible design within all applicable requirements, legislation, and guidelines.
  • Managing projects in terms of planning, efficient deployment of people and quality, and reporting to the project manager.
  • Chairing draft meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring progress and decision-making in consultations.
  • Organizing the quality assurance process and ensuring that the delivered quality aligns with customer demand.
  • Performing the final check of the design.
