Description
As Business Manager, you are responsible for the execution of operational activities at all locations of the Business Unit and report to the Operations Manager.
Job requirements
- Relevant HBO degree with an affinity for (civil) engineering.
- Managerial experience.
- Customer focus.
- Relevant knowledge of waste legislation, environmental permits, and regulations is an advantage.
- Good command of the Dutch language; knowledge of English is an advantage.
Tasks
- Leading teams in the execution of work at all locations of the Business Unit.
- Managing and processing various soil and waste streams, including at TOP locations (Temporary Storage Site).
- Ensuring safe working practices in accordance with environmental and hygiene regulations and continuously coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that short- and long-term operational planning is executed.
- Monitoring financial forecasts and ensuring accurate records.
- Implementing adjustments to processes, financial estimates, or site layout in consultation, for example during weekly and bilateral meetings.
