Team Manager Operations
Description
You are part of the Management Team and Broad Management Meeting and report to the Executive Board. You lead the Operations team of 30 colleagues and, together with the Support & Development Team Manager, manage three interim program managers who provide temporary support in finance, HRM, and IT.
You are fully responsible for business operations and, as a member of the team managers' meeting, contribute to strategy, policy, and their implementation for the entire organization.
Job requirements
- Higher professional education (HBO+) working and thinking level.
- Extensive experience as a manager, preferably in a political-administrative environment.
- Experience with change management and organizational development.
- Demonstrable affinity with the broad field of business administration.
- Coaching and inspiring leadership; steadfast and decisive.
- Strategic and analytical insight.
- Communicative, connecting, and persuasive.
- Execution power and a professional foundation with a helicopter view.

Tasks
- Be fully responsible for business operations.
- Leading the Operations team in an inspiring manner.
- Coaching and stimulating the personal and professional development of employees.
- Responsible for realizing objectives, policies, and tasks, and for directing and monitoring progress.
- Directing and coaching on set goals, efficiency, and strengthening collaboration between the clusters within the Business Operations team.
- Translating Management decisions into organizational frameworks, projects, and programs, and preparing decisions for the Management Board.
- Identifying new developments and innovations and translating them into the organization's service delivery.
- Contribute to organization-wide projects and programs as a (delegated) client.
- Stimulating collaboration, task maturity, and self-management capabilities, and shaping the further development of the team.
- Act as a sparring partner, decision-maker, and prioritizer where necessary.

The organization also provides specialist advice and collaborates with regional and national partners.

Examples of dossiers include the construction of wind turbines, the use of hydrogen, the impact of the nitrogen dossier, water safety, and limiting emissions of substances of very high concern.
