For our client, a leading player in the biogas and renewable energy industry, we are seeking a Service and Commissioning Engineer. Based at the office in Friesland, you will work on innovative biogas solutions and travel worldwide to commission and optimize installations. You will work in a dynamic, flexible work environment where collaboration is key and technical expertise and analytical skills are utilized to solve complex issues.

Job requirements

  • Completed technical higher professional or intermediate vocational education (MBO+) in Chemical Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar.
  • Broad technical knowledge and a solution-oriented, independent work attitude.
  • Knowledge of NEN 3140, the Machinery Directive and PED is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
  • Affinity with environmental technology and sustainable energy.

Tasks

  • Commissioning of biogas installations and performing functional tests.
  • Analyzing technical faults and finding solutions on site.
  • Reporting findings and advising on improvements in the design and operation of installations.
  • Maintain contact with customers and suppliers to answer technical questions and provide solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO procedures.
  • Support the development of service contracts and advise on preventive maintenance.
  • Independently solving complex technical problems within small teams with short lines of communication.

Working conditions

  • 8,33% holiday pay.
  • €0,23 net travel allowance per km for commuting.
  • Minimum of 25 days of vacation.
