Description

Executive supervisor responsible for directing and coaching drivers and co-drivers to achieve operational objectives and the planning of efficient waste stream collection routes. This involves a team of approximately 15 to 20 people, based in Hoogeveen.

Tasks

  • Supervising drivers and co-drivers and coaching them in the execution of duties.
  • Achieves operational objectives and ensures the planning of efficient collection routes for waste streams.
  • Implements HRM guidelines and conducts performance and appraisal interviews.
  • Takes a leading role in absence management, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Coaches and guides personal development in the areas of safety, health, career, and training, and ensures required certification.
  • Monitors the quality and execution of work together with the planner and makes adjustments where necessary.
  • Arranges and registers staffing matters related to illness and leave and handles the administrative processing thereof.
  • Maintains internal and external contact regarding hiring and recruitment.
  • Checks and processes the administration of the driver group, such as tachograph usage, weigh-in weeks, and the handling of damages and complaints.
  • Conducts workplace and vehicle inspections, organizes work consultations and toolbox meetings, and monitors compliance with site regulations and safety regulations in accordance with applicable SHEQ guidelines.
