You form the link between production and management, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear communication regarding progress and results.

Job requirements

  • Completed relevant education at least at MBO-4 level.
  • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a production or operational environment.
  • Demonstrable experience with process improvement.
  • Knowledge of production techniques within the aerospace or similar high-tech industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality systems (such as QMS, FPs) is a plus.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build consensus.
  • Decisive and result-oriented mindset (SQDC-M) with analytical skills.
  • Flexibility in leadership style, with a preference for coaching and developing employees.

Tasks

  • Leading a high-performance team within the paint shop with a focus on productivity, quality, craftsmanship, and safety.
  • Strengthen engagement, motivation, and ownership within the team, reduce absenteeism, and increase independence.
  • Operational management of a multidisciplinary team (quality, engineering, logistics).
  • Promoting continuous improvement with methodologies such as Lean, 6S, Kaizen, OEE, and TPM.
  • Establish and maintain a clear and efficient departmental structure.
  • Initiating and managing improvement projects in the areas of production, logistics, quality, and the work environment.
  • Managing towards achieving operational KPIs and objectives.
  • Guiding and preparing client audits.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure clear communication regarding progress and performance.
