You will follow a training program and progress step by step to an independent advisory role for complex environmental issues and EIA processes.
Job requirements
- HBO or WO working and thinking level in environmental science, environmental sciences, or a similar field.
- At least two years of work experience in a related role (for example, junior environmental expert at a municipality, province, or consultancy firm; environmental service employee with environmental specialization; environmental inspector with advisory ambitions; or junior consultant with knowledge of noise, air, or soil).
- Affinity with environmental law and complex issues in the physical domain.
- Analytical work attitude, solution-oriented thinking, and firmness in advice.
- Ambition to grow into an advisory role and willingness to follow the training program.
- Fluent Dutch (C2).
Tasks
- Advising the Executive Board on complex environmental issues.
- Assisting with Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).
- Providing substantive contributions to permits, policy, and enforcement.
- Collaborating with legal experts, urban planners, and supervisors on integrated dossiers.
