Description
Experienced shovel operator/crane operator who independently and safely operates heavy equipment for projects in civil engineering, road and water construction, demolition, and recycling, and contributes to sustainable and circular projects.
Job requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a shovel operator or (mobile) crane operator and with heavy equipment.
- In possession of a VCA certificate.
- Independent, flexible, and practically minded.
- Sense of responsibility and strong safety awareness.
- Physically fit and accustomed to working on construction sites and grounds.
Tasks
- Operating excavators and (mobile) cranes, including various attachments such as a sorting grab and cleanup bucket.
- Loading, unloading, and moving soil, demolition, and recycling materials.
- Performing excavation work, leveling terrain, and assisting with earthworks.
- Sorting and moving waste streams and raw materials at recycling sites.
- Performing basic maintenance on machines and ensuring a tidy workplace.
- Work in accordance with applicable safety regulations and standards (VCA).
