Description
As an E&I Engineer for the Energy Transition, you will be part of a multidisciplinary project team and work on electrical and instrumentation issues for projects within the energy sector. You will focus on modifications, expansions, and the construction of new process installations for new construction, replacement, and maintenance projects. You will provide design work and technical support in projects for major clients.
Job requirements
- Completed higher professional or university education, preferably in electrical engineering or similar.
- In-depth technical knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Experience with standardization processes is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving ability and good communication and organizational skills.
- Good command of the Dutch language in word and writing.
Tasks
- Performing necessary calculations for electrical and instrumentation solutions.
- Creating, correcting, and modifying electrical and instrumentation schematics, such as circuit diagrams, instrument loops, and P&IDs.
- Directing third parties in the execution of work within the field.
- Show initiative in pursuing vocational training and keeping up with new technological developments.
- Brainstorming with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality and smart solutions for every project.

Description of the organization

You will join a nationally operating Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, and Automation (EI&A) team comprising over 40 specialists, including EIA engineers, lead engineers, installation managers, automation specialists, and project managers. The team works for leading clients in the energy sector and handles a wide range of challenges such as designing new installations, modernizing control systems, safely managing high- and low-voltage installations, and implementing sustainable energy solutions.
